How can I help raise funds for TLC?

The list is endless – how you raise the money is up to you! Every penny donated is appreciated from substantial grants to pocket money.
You can also help by buying tickets to attend events organised by TLC or our supporters in the community.

Where do I send the funds I raise?

If you or your organisation has raised funds for TLC, cheques made payable to TLC can be posted to TLC Unit 7, Brookfoot Business Park, Elland Road, Brighouse HD6 2SD. Occasionally TLC Trustees will attend photo opportunities and collect cheques.

Become a Friend of TLC

You can be a Friend of TLC by regularly donating a minimum amount of as little as £2 a month for individuals. It’s really easy, just fill out the Friends of TLC application form below and send it to our address.

St Martin’s Church Brighouse

TLC would like to thank the team at St Martin’s Church in Brighouse who raised a generous donation of £2,000 by innovating in difficult times and taking the Charity Jigsaw Festival online in 2020. TLC Trustees are impressed by the jigsaw assembly, checking, sales, packing and delivery achieved by the St Martin’s volunteers.  Their donation will support the Letterbox book scheme and catch-up tuition. We wish them every success in 2021.

Last Night of the Proms

Last Night of the Proms – A Huge Thank You from TLC!

It is hoped that the sell-out indoor picnic concert at St Martin’s Church Brighouse will be repeated in September 2021. This fundraiser for TLC and the church provides  quality live musical entertainment from Clifton and Lightcliffe Band and St Martin’s Choir.

Hays Travel Fun Day in Halifax

Family fun organised by Hays Travel in Halifax generated a wonderful donation of £1542 for TLC in 2018. Thank you for all the hard work and enthusiasm!

Funding for Website Improvements

Thank you to the Time Out Foundation for the generous donation which enabled the TLC website to be modernised and improved.  The TLC Trustees would like to thank this organisation for their ongoing support as a corporate sponsor.

Additional Donation in 2019

Once again, TLC Trustees would like to thank Time Out Foundation for another generous donation of £2000 in 2019. All monies donated go towards helping Children Looked-after in Calderdale.
